SPRING/SUMMER 2024!
The Pewaukee Predators Fastpitch Organization is excited to host the 3rd Season for our ROOKIE program for the girls in the Pewaukee Community. It provides an affordable, introductive and moderately competitive experience of girls fastpitch softball to community families with daughters in grades 1-9.
The Pewaukee Predator Rookie Program is dedicated to:
- Teaching solid batting/fielding/pitching technique and softball strategies
- Excellence in Coaching by providing parent and community volunteers with coaching clinic(s) and other tools
- Building Young Ladies' Confidence, Leadership, and Good Sportsmanship Practices on and off the field
- Growing team bonding and friendships
- Having Fun!
General Details of the Program
- 4 Different grade levels (a more detailed description is provided under the tabs found on the home page menu bar)
- Registration Fees will vary by grade level due to varying costs of umpire and tournaments fees.
- Uniform shirts and visors are covered under the program registration fee
- Each player is responsible for providing her own helmet and glove. Other equipment such as bats and catching gear are provided by the Predators
- Participation in the well-established Land O Hills Softball League
- Will Compete against the surrounding areas' mutual Rookie-level teams, some including Lake Country, Merton, Sussex/Libson and Monches
- Practices will begin end of April/beginning of May
- League Games typically begin 3rd week of May and end mid-July (Typically 12-14 scheduled league games)
- End of the Year Tournament for all grade levels (TBD)
- Home games and practices will be played on the Pewaukee High School JV field for Grades 1-4. For Grades 5-8, home games and practices will be played on the Pewaukee High School Varsity Field and South Park Fields as a back-up option.
